This is the procedure to view or change the Station Number: This is the keyboard: ________________________ | | | | | | | | | | |_____|_____|_____|_____| | | | | | | OOO | | | | |_____|_____|_____|_____| | | | | | | | | 0 | | |_____|_____|_____|_____| | | | | | | | | | | |_____|_____|_____|_____| a. Press these two keys marked with 0's together, depressing the one marked 000 just slightly before the other one. b. The top line of the display will show the Station Number Address that the Registration System thinks is assigned to this Station. The number will be between 1 and 32. (If it is 32, then the station doesn't actually have an address, unless you know you have actually set this station's number to 32. That's because the factory sets an invalid station address when it makes the controller. You can't do that.) c. Rotate the hand encoder to adjust the Station Number. For example, if you wanted to set up Station 5, and dial in 5 as the Station Number. d. To make the Registration Sysem remember the new value, press the two keys marked with 0's together, depressing the one marked 000 just slightly before the other two: ________________________ | | | | | | | | | | |_____|_____|_____|_____| | | | | | | OOO | | | | |_____|_____|_____|_____| | | | | | | | | 0 | | |_____|_____|_____|_____| | | | | | | | | | | |_____|_____|_____|_____| Pressing any other key(s) will make the Registration Sysem forget about any changes you attempted to make. This is the way you view (and verify) the current value without making a change. e. It's good practice to check your work by repeating steps a and d above, omitting changing any data. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Copyright 2009, Michael L.
