Welcome to our pages on
Errata -- where we confess our Blunders and Mistakes we make on this
Website, and the Corrections.
We would like everything you see to be error-free, but we're only human.
(Incidentally, if you find something wrong, drop us a line, and we'll
credit you for the spot.)
Here are the expanded versions:

The first (left-hand-most) parameter on line 3 was NOT USED prior to
nc_regis (i.e. the Registration Controller) Version 1.8. With Version
1.8, we recognize the option "Use the old, old ARC 1000 communications
protocol," but as of the latest version (1.9e) it really doesn't do
much. It's intent is to imitate a controller on an old ARC 1000
registraiton system, so you can intermix the old ARC 1000 register
control with the new, to gradually up-grade an old Commander from the
old ARC 1000 to the new Auto Register. But we've found limited
enthusiasm for this, so it's incomplete.
